This is not a usual post, but I’m a huge fan of this artist.

Wanna go to a cheap show by an artist almost unheard of by your friends? Tuesday, July 19, Jeremy Messersmith, an independent artist from Minneapolis (the most hipster city in the US) is playing a show at The Satellite in Silver Lake.

Being relatively underground, he has gained some exposure by having his song “A Girl, A Boy, and a Graveyard” featured on an episode of NBC’s Chuck and being one of the first independent, unsigned artists to reach the top 10 albums on iTunes and being named in the top 10 albums of 2010 by NPR.
